PS: Excluding the installation and maintenance services, most of our other services are independent of client location. Work is completed at our office and delivered on site with step by step instructions for quick implementation.

These are some of the types of mis-uses where an experienced consultant can be an effective tool for your organization to obtain the highest possible return on it's 3D software investment.

Development Services

 PDMS^TM development is often associated with a number of activities:

    Creation/setup of Project

    Creation/modification of Piping, Structural, Cable Trays, HVAC, Insulation specs

    Creation of special components (e.g. contract specific valves, flow meters, actuators etc)

    Modifying existing forms in PDMS^TM and even creating new ones using PML.

    Modifying existing GUI (user interface) files to reset default options for the users.

    Adding selection options to GUI files.

    Creation of new modeling and drawing applications.

    Creation of software interfaces to other CAD or Database products.

Modified and additional GUI files need to be kept separate to protect them from being overwritten if the software is re-installed.  Care must also be taken when upgrading to a new version.   Files may  need to be modified again to be compatible at future releases.

Plant Design Experts can assist clients directly with custom  programming, or we have a working relationship with several capable contract programmers.  PDExperts could also help with writing the scope and functional criteria to have the development written and maintained by AVEVA.
